Couple of tid bits about my pregnancy and life around here:
* I'm going to be induced a little bit early so we are looking at meeting Little Girl Perez #2 around May 15th-20th. (about 11 weeks away...yeah!)
* I'm not really craving anything but am def. liking strawberry popcicles, any kind of soup, rice krispy treats, cereal, and soy milk.
* The baby weighs about 2 1/2 lbs right now and is moving so much. I love to feel her moving around!
*I have my glucose screening next week...lets pray that I pass that!
*Miss Caroline and Mommy get to accompany Daddy to Myrtle Beach next week for a work convention. The hotel we are staying in has a 30,000 sq. foot indoor waterpark. Pro - Should be a good break from winter! Con- 7 months pregnant and pale as a ghost in a bathing suit...yikes!
* Caroline talks to my tummy and tells me that she wants to "hold her" but then tells me "My baby sister has to stay in Momma's belly b/c she has to keep growing" So sweet...she's going to be a great big sister!
*And speaking of big sister...she's getting a big girl bed and a new room! We are working on the "little girl" wing of our house. It has housed a guest room, and a room with my computer/school space and the eliptical for the past two years. The two bedrooms and the hall have been freshly painted and are in the middle of becoming our little girls new bedrooms. Too cute! I'll post pics when we have them all finished!
*Tony and I gave up our nightly TV watching before bed for Lent. Doesn't sound like much but if you knew how much I loved Nancy Grace and The Real Housewives of the O.C....you would understand. I'm trying to spend that time talking with Tony, reading, and/or praying more before bed.
Hope you are all having a great week!

The Circus on Valentine's Day
We have really really enjoyed being parents and getting to do "kiddie" things like going to the circus again! It makes Tony and I sooo happy that Caroline loves it as much as we do! She sat and enjoyed every second of the circus just as she did last year when she was only 16 months old. She ate lots of cotton candy, wore her circus hat the whole time, and even got to meet several clowns who came up and gave her a balloon animal! What a great family Valentine's evening!

One of God's Great Little Gifts
My mom and I were talking this weekend about how God gives us little breaks in Winter to get us through until Spring! The weather the past couple of days (on top of getting my health back:) has been so refreshing to my mind, body, and soul! Much needed!
We spent most of our weekend outside and loved every second of it. We drove to Salisbury to Dan Nicholas Park on Saturday and spent most of the day there. If you haven't been there, you need to go! They have a zoo, a beautiful merry-go-round, a train, several nice playgorunds, a big pond with ducks, paddleboats, and much more. Needless to say, Caroline had the best weekend she's had in months! Trains, playgrounds, ice cream, swings, picnics...what more could a two year old want! Hope everyone else is enjoying God's gift of beautiful weather as much as we are!

Bad Equation
The Stomach Flu + Being 6 months pregnant + Having a 2 year old + preschool being cancelled b/c of snow = a BAD week
