Where is my Momma?

So I have finally figured out how to use my beautiful new pink laptop that Santa Tony gave me for Christmas...and just in time for my first day at Liberty University. I was definitely less anxious about coming this time because I now know my way around Lynchburg and the campus, however...I miss my sweet little family as much if not more than I did last time. Tony just called to tell me that Caroline asked tonight "Where is my momma?" Tony said "She'll be home soon" and she replied "Ok, I'll wait for her." Breaks my heart, I know she doesn't understand. However i'm greatful to be here and have this opportunity! My parents and Tony are so gracious and sweet to take on my responsibilities with Caroline for the week so that I am able to come to VA and do this. Thank you guys so so much!
As for my class, it looks like it's going to be an awesome experience like my last class. It's Counseling 505 which is one on one intensive therapy. Just on my first day I have already met some really interesting people and learned a lot about being a counselor...there are so many skills and techniques to learn. I am going to have to practice counseling other students this week...which is great. I'm both excited and nervous about trying that out!
I just have to tell this quick story... I was eating dinner by myself at Applebees tonight which is right beside my hotel and across from the LU campus. This cute couple (I later learned were sophomores and both athletes) noticed I was eating by myself and came over and asked me if I wanted to sit with them. HOW CUTE IS THAT?!! I thought to myself if you only knew I was 28 years old, a mother, and pregnant! ha! I'm like a dinosaur to these 19 year olds....but how sweet to be concerned for me sitting there alone. Only at Liberty! I swear being here is like being on a really inspriring church retreat...I just can't say enough about this University! Great place and I'm proud to be a student!

I know it's hard being away from your family...just keep thinking about the wonderful positive influence you are going to have on those precious students once you complete your degree. Enjoy yourself and learn a lot.

Great blogging, Mols. Love to read it. How much longer are you there? You know that Lynchburg is 20 minutes from Sweet Briar, right? If you have some free time, go drive the campus, so pretty. That is thee sweetest story about the couple trying to take you in. Haha. Love it.
I miss you. Can we see eachother soon?

So cute Mols! I can't believe you are already up there... It seemed so far away for so long.
We should be driving up on Thursday. I will call you when we leave - maybe I can catch you for lunch.
XOXO!!!
