getting BIG

This morning as we were sitting around doing our normal "morning" things (breakfast, getting dressed, etc) I looked around at these two girls and thought to myself.."they are growing up way too fast!" Maggie is sitting up, trying to crawl, loving baby food, and chuckles like a 300 lb woman....she is too precious. But what happened to my 6 lb newborn? The past 8 months have flown by! AND CAROLINE...my goodness...she wants to do EVERYTHING by herself. She can tell you just what she wants and how she wants it...of course communication has never been a problem for her. She is like talking to an adult. She is doing GREAT in preschool. She is the youngest in her class by far but it keeping up with the other kids very well. She is also going to gymnastics and LOVES that! The child needed some physical activity b/c she likes movies (yes full length movies) way too much! She asks me if she can watch Alvin and the chipmunks at least three times a day. And the strict mother that I am...I usually only let her watch it twice....ha:) JK! WE just signed her up for swim lessons so that is our next big hurdle. We want to toss those swimmies in time for summer. Never too early to learn to swim when there is a pool in the backyard! I tell her everyday I'm going to put a brick on her head and she always says "no Mommy I want to grow up just like you" so sweet!

You are right -they grow way too fast!!! Evie will be one on Saturday. Where did the time go? I remember reading your blog before Evie and loving to see the everything that Caroline was doing. I could not wait to take Evie to Krispy Kreme for a doughnut - HA! We will be able to do that soon. Enjoy each day. We are so lucky to be home with our girls watching them grow.

Tell me about it! It is truly an overwhelming feeling to really look at your kids and think, wow, where has the time gone?! I wish we lived closer so that our kids can know each other. It's funny how similar Caroline and Dylan, and Maggie and Kyle are! Miss you and hope to talk soon!

I agree with the brick idea - my little man changes everyday - I wish we could freeze time. :)

Wow Mollie, you have two amazing little girls in your home. I can only be so lucky and hope for a little girl as sweet as the ones you have. You and Tony must be doing something very right to have created such wonders.
I can't wait wait wait to see you in February. My shower, that my dear friend is helping to host. It means so much to me that you will not only be there, but have such a creative hand in the whole process. I Love you more than words. xx
