So after days in the hospital and many questions, they finally figured out that my mom has ischemic colitis. That is an infection and loss of blood supply to the large intestines/colon. Very strange as she has NEVER had any issues with her intestines before...BUT it is the best possible outcome we could have hoped for. It is so wonderful b/c there is no surgury/medication/ect...it just repairs itself. The prayers worked and this is really the best case scenario. Praise God...HE IS GOOD!
Now if this baby would just come out....:) The waiting and the swelling continues...
